Default Starter relay

My starter wires melted the plastic casing the holds all of the clips to the solenoid (http://www.expressauto24.net/WebRoot.../j011_copy.jpg) Is it possible to buy the plastic housing that encases the wires and protects the fuse? Cause uh, mine is causing shorts. So now sometimes there will not be power to the bike and i have to wiggle them wires to get it to work. Dangerous with the new HIDs i put in.

Yeah I would just replace it. I don't believe you can get just the housing for it from honda and if it's shorting out it's F'ed up internally. Better to get new or used off ebay than to keep going with the one you have now.

The problem is the clips are touching each other. Do they sell the plastic housing or am i going to have to replace all of my wires in the bike?

Man you don't need to replace your wires unless they're damaged. You can't get the housing itself unless someone wants to take theirs apart and give it to you. A quick check on ebay and it's $10 for a relay. If thats all you need it's an easy plug and play swap. I don't understand why you would need to replace the wire harness, unless the harness is damaged too?

just get a new relay. its a cheap part!

and what do you mean replace wires? (unless the wires are corroded). don't replace 'em. just shrink wrap them if the coating has melted away.

The whole housing is melted is what i am saying. So i have to find a parts F2 in order to get one you are saying. The solenoid is fully functional, it is just the wires that are dead.
