Default sprockets

Hey guys, was gonna go down a tooth on my front sprocket. any recommendation for a certain brand of sprocket, or website to buy at? Thanks

there are a lot of good brands out there. Sprocket specialties, vortex, Driven... All of which are decent.

the one thing you need to consider though if you haven't is that you do not want to replace just a single sprocket. The chain and both sprockets are system that need to be changed together. They wear together, and introducing any new component to the system will create dramatically faster wear of all components due to them not seating together properly. i

If you have less the 3-4 thousand miles on your current set up, you may be able to get away with swapping just one component. But its usually still not recommended to do so. If you have more miles than that, I definately would consider a complete chain and sprocket swap.

As for websites. I usually just use ebay to find the better prices.

vortex make combo packs and they usally have alot of diffrent options on colors and sprocket combos

many companies make combo packs. Lots of people decide to do a conversion down to 520. It depends on your bike but on mine im going to go with a -1/+2 (very popular) 520 conversion kit. Ive found one for less than $150 shipped. As for brands ive heard good things about vortex..
