Default SpeedoHealer Problem

Hey whats up guys, I installed a speedohealer of my 06 1000rr last night and now my speedometer won't work. When I turn the key the led lights blink for a few seconds but it doesn't display a speed like it should to confirm correct installation. I took it out for a "test ride" and my speedometer comes on like but stays at 0. Any suggestions for troubleshooting? Thanks.

Two things to check I guess... make sure it's connected properly and make sure the code you've put in it makes sense.

I haven't put a code in it yet, i was just testing to make sure it was connected right. I plugged it in just like the instructions say, I dunno what it coud be.

Ok after careful review of the instructions I realized I did not set the dip switch to "ON". I feel dumb but hope that is it. thanks

it happens to all of us... I was really confused myself and then realized it had to be something simple. That's the way it is (most of the time).

Actually come to find out, that wasn't the problem at all. It turns out that on the 2006 1000rr the wires (blue and white) that you have to hook up are opposite of the directions. Bc the direction I got were for an 04-05 and on the '06 the blue, and white wires you have to hook them up reversed from what it says in the instructions for the 04-05. It works perfect now. Thanks
