Default RE: Speedo Healer Setup

ORIGINAL: 05Tribal

I have my PCIII USB and Speedo Healer mounted in the side voids located in the tail. As far as the GPS goes, here might be one way for mounting it.

Do you have any pics of this. Did it work out good for ya? Thanks

I didn't permanently mount the GPS to my bike. I connected it temporarily to the triple clamp using rubber bands.

Default RE: Speedo Healer Setup

Mounted my PCIII USB and SpeedoHealer in tail section voids, one left the other on the right. My GPS mount attaches to the steering dampner cover, superglued nuts to the insde (Garmin 2610 bike mount hardwired) and screws in from the top. With the SpeedoHealer I used the setting given to me by the rep (+5.6 for 04 Blade) measured the circumference of the tire and then input to calculator for settings. Then took the bike out with GPS (WAAS enabled) and let rip on a long straight freeway. Got back and compared top speed registered on GPS with topspeed registered on SpeedoHealer (push button and max speed shows on speedo) There was 1km/h difference at 273 km/h and that gave me a 0.36% difference which I adjusted to the +5.6 initially used. Now seems spot on. My 06 Blade arrived yesterday so I now strip everything off the 04 and remount on the 06, except for the exhaust as I'm now fitting an Arata full Ti system. That should keep me busy for the next few evenings!!
