Default SpeedO healer

I think my Speedodometer is WRONG. not 100% sure. I see two options and need help,

1. take it to dealer and ask them to fix as the bike is only 3 weeks old. ( can they? )

2. Get a SpeedO healer, if so, what does this thing do? Ive looked at them online but not sure how it works?

Thanks in advance for all the great input.

How far do think it's off? If you're running stock sprockets it's common to be off as much as 10%. Dealer can't do anything about it except to add a speedohealer -- it'll be a lot cheaper if you do it yourself.
