If that's wot the good book recomends, then it should be right. Wot sort of condition are the plugs in? Adjusting the gap is a good, but if your bike not starting & you suspect the plugs, then just gapping them will make bugger all difference. A good tan colour around the electrode is a indicator of your bike running well, but if their covered in sooty or black residue then its something else (maybe carb adjustment/fuel to air adustment needed). Anyway hope you get your bike running
