Default So i did a burn out and now im clutch is acting up

yeah, so i did my first burn out the other day. didnt do it too long. everything went well i guess. but now i have to release my clutch a bit longer before it engages.

did i burn the clutch out, or is it something i can tweak and get it to engage when i get off the lever a bit?

thanks in advanced

you could try adjusting the clutch cable and see if that help.

May want an oil change too. If you burnt it up or if it broke you could have some nasty little bits floating around in your oil now.

We have whats called a wet clutch. The motor oil on your bike flows right into the clutch basket, and has a nice big opening below it that goes right into the oil pan. Thats why its very important to use the proper oil in the bike as well, some oils like car oil has additives that can actually ruin your clutch.
