I have a head gasket leak and I put stop leak in it to hold me over till I could change the gasket..Its my only vehicle..Well I followed the instructions and after about 15 minutes of letting it run the stop leak starts spewing out from the engine itself..I mean it was all over the place.I dont know what it is but it didnt look good..Any ideas?

 

Stop leak has been know to clog coolant ports and radiators...I would change the gaskets and make sure all passages are clear

 

absolute worst thing ever.

 

I hate that stop leak crap! Drain it before it blocks your entire cooling system and costs you more $$$, previous owner used it in my car and it blocked everything except the hole in the radiator. I'm still kicking myself for not flushing the coolant when I bought it.
If you left it idling for 15 min it probably overheated, but It sounds like your head gasket will need changing asap.

 

Yea I flushed everything and Im gonna go ahead and change my gaskets...I just didnt have the cash and was trying a quick fix....Thanx fellas...

 

you should cut your losses part it out and get a car
