Is a bit of smoke from the exhaust normal as the bike is warming up???. Once its up to temperature its fine.

Yeah, that's normal. As long as it is white. Usually when it is chilly out also. When I started mine up this morning to go to work it was a chilly 39 degrees and the normal white smoke was coming out of the exhaust.

Hey, I have the same question. But mine will smoke when I get on it. Only 1100 miles I think it may be running rich though.

9 .9 chances out of 10 its not smoke!
Its moisture / humidity that being evaporated out of the exhaust. It comes from all combustion engines. Just put a piece of paper next to it and it will get wet in seconds

Mine does the exact same thing. It seems like more smoke than there should be.

If it smokes when you get on it hard, you may have too much oil in it. When the revs get high, excess oil will get in the airbox
and into the engine, making a puff of smoke

Yep, mine smokes a lot too until it gets warm, think it's the norm.
