Default Signal lights on f4i

what is the best and easiest way to attack the stock signals to get them out and put new smaller ones in? also the ones i have are two wire now i am not going to be able to use them as markers right? is there a way that you can make the two wire work as markers as well.

To get to mine I have remove the side fairings, and the intake covers, and also the front lower fairing (or whatever its called, that goes between the side fairings by the radiator). If you don't want to unplug the turn signals, and just cut the wires and wire the new ones on the bike you don't need to remove the intake covers, but it makes the job a bit easier if you do remove them. The stock turn signals will be held on by a 10mm nut on the back side of the upper faring if I remember correcly. Unfortunately there isn't a way to make the two wire ones work as markers (you would need a dual fillament bulb). Well take that back, it is possible but probably not worth the effort. If you want to know exactly how I can fill you in but you will need to wire up two five wire relays. Hope this helps.
