Hey Guys,

I was wondering if it was safe to add a bottle of that Carburator/Fuel InjectorCleaner that can be purchased at any parts store in the Gas Tank. My buddy says he does that in his GSXR and has never had a problem. I wanted to know what you all thought.

Yup, it'll be a little strong I think, since I think the ratio is one bottle of cleaner to up to 10 gallons of fuel, but as long as you don't run the stuff every fill up, I'd say you should be fine.

 

Yeah go for it. Every other oil change is pretty good rule of thumb especialy if you use low octane fuels alot.

 

+1...Iuse it the tank before before the oil change. I use seafoamonce in a while. Sometimes I'll add a little Marvel Mystery oil to the gas, but who really knows if that does anything.

 

I would only use a half a bottle per tank. Liek the one guys said-one bottle is good for 10 gallons. Don't use it on back to back tanks. Just use half a bottle in one tank then wait for awhile then add it to another tank later on. STP is good stuff and not priced bad at all.
