Unhappy Running bad

I just took my CBR F3 apart and cleaned the carbs. When I got it back together and started it up it sounded so much better. But, when I took it out for a ride it seems to bog down or hesitate once I shift into second gear. If I shift into third it kills it. I have full power in first. I check for air leaks and everything seems to be fine. The idle is solid. Not sure what I should do next. Anyone got any ideas?

On the F3 there are a pair of small air hose inlets located right below the headlight. It's possible that these hoses are not connected, or not connected to the proper location. There is a solenoid valve behind the air cleaner box that the hoses attach to. This valve gets turned off when the bike reaches 12 MPH. Check the hose routing diagram on the top of the air cleaner and verify the proper routing of these hoses.

This was the first time I removed the carbs myself. A friend of mine who used to work on my bike moved to North Carolina. I called him and he walked me through the process. I do not recall seeing these hoses. I know of the hose that connects to the underside of the airfilter box. That is the only one I disconnected and reconnected. I will look into it though. Is it possible there could be an issue with the electrical hook up from the carbs that is causing the issue? The connector on the carb seemed a little loose. When I tried to wiggle it it came of and I do not think it should have done that. I pushed it back on.. Not sure if it is broken it is tight again..
