At what rpm are you shifting to get the best performance out of your bike?

Its never the same point for all types of riding, so depends where ya wanna go n how you wanna get there. If i wanna cain the beast i change near on or near the redline. If its a cruise i`m on normally more sedate somewhere around the top third of the rev range.

My old CBR 1000F makes over 60 lb/ft of torque between 6,000 and 9,000. So depending on circumstances, I shift anywhere in that range.

Redline- 13,500
So I shift at 13,500 rpms. Isn't that what everyone does?? [sm=signs006.gif]
