Default ROAD RASH QUESTIONS HELP!!

Hey guys, I just dumped my bike... Its not too bad.. I have the front faring on the way.. I own a 93 Honda CBR Fx2 Black. So heres my questions.. I Scratched the left side up alittle.. Damage to the left lower faring.. kinda scuffed up.. most of the impact was given too the shifer and my clutch lever... any idea's on the fix thats not too insane in price?? & for painting tips.. Can i just sand the farings down... bondo or fiberglass ( if needed ) im not too sure at this point.. the damage really isnt too too bad.. Can i just sand & paint?? and for the clutch lever.. is it possible too sand and spray chrome??

Any feed back and advice would be great. Thank you very much..
and if anyones interested i dumped my bike around a cornor.. salty on a main street... Im okay tho.. just minor rash. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR GEAR!

Look for two-part plastic weld products - you can use this to fill and level the surface before you sand, prime, and paint.

I low-sided recently and replaced all of my left side plastics. My upper fairing has some rash and 2 cracks which I am fixing with Devcon Plastic Weld (you can find this and simialr products at WalMart or Advance Auto Parts).

I recently saw a tech article on www.sportrider.com which talked about getting adhesives used specifically on ABS plastics. I can't put my hands on the article right now, but search the Tech Section on the SR site.

For the clutch lever i am going to assume its some sort of aluminum material (forgive if im wrong). If you just have some gouges sand them out the best you can and make them smooth as possible, when done get some compound and buff the heck out of it to smooth it out. I would not recomend trying to paint them at all especailly chrome, it will eventually rub away from constant use if not peel somewhat.
