Rhino Liner
Would it be a good/stupid idea to paint fairings with Rhino bedliner stuff.

To each his own.
Inexpensive & easy to apply uniformly, & durable?...yes.
Attractive as an overall outer paint surface?...not especially.
More functional than anything else.
Best use I've seen for it on bikes is the undertail/FE.
If you like it, that's all that matters.

depends -- could look okay, or be oh-so-wrong.

I think it would look like crap, but that's just my opinion. But, I also never understood why someone would paint a bike/car/truck flat black (or any other flat color) unless they were trying to hide a really uneven pannel or bad prep-work. Personally, I prefer my finished surfaces to be polished and glossy.
I've thought about using it on the inside of the fairings as a noise damper and
to clean up the repair-signs (fiber-glass and bondo). I could see it on the frame,
that would add a hip look, imo. But, I'm gonna weigh in on the majority, I like a
gloss, to show you meant it. I can dig it for the details, though.

It certainly wouldn't be the first time someone did it. Here is the photo and the post.

guys on other forums have done it.... but it's mostly on bikes that double as a street and track bike so when they lay it down on the track, they can come home and fix it real easy.... never heard of any problems over-heating.
