Replacing CBR600rr Sparkplugs
Hi,
since I'm putting in a new Air Filter, is there a chance that the spark plugs could be installed from the top, with the tank cover off?
Would it be easier then dropping the rad and removing side panels?
My bike is a 03' CBR600rr.
Thanks,
bill

If the bikes manual says to remove the radiator and panel, then thats what more than likely has to be done. My 1000RR is the same way. I tried to go under the tank and airbox, but there was no room to do it.
However, I still needed to have the tank cover and airbox off. I was able to see and help guide things from the top while working from the front. If you go only from the front without seeing from the top, it will be very hard.
having said that, you can always try. If you can get creative enough with tools, you may be able to pull it off. However, I don't think there is enough room as the engine is tilted forward at a pretty good angle.
