Removing Headlight Lens?

RE: Removing Headlight Lens?
If you are meaning to take the headlight housing and split it in two, I have heard that putting the whole housing in the oven for a while will make the glue that bonds the assembly together hot enough to where it can be pulled apart. This guy that lived a couple houses down from me did that on his Eclipse. I dont remember the temp or how he got them back together but it worked just fine.

I've got a buddy that does HID retro fits and he does the exaclty what Motoxxx43 described. He sets the oven to 200 then shuts it off. Waits 5 minutes and throws the housing in for 10 minutes (oven still off). After the ten minutes the glue should be soft enough for you to pull the lens off. If it's not, just leave it in the oven a bit longer. Seen this process donewith headlight housings for 4runners, couple of GMC SUVs and a honda civic. He normally uses the projectors and ballasts from BMWs and Audis. I'm sure if your creative enough you could retro fit one to a bike.
