Default Rebuilding front fork, i got a trouble

Hi,

I'm actually rebuilding my front fork. In the Honda oem boom they say to add 18oz us + or - 0.08oz of fork fluid, then pump the damping rod, then pump the fork tube and at the end, they say the level of fork fluid is supposed to be at 110mm from the top of fork tube....I put exactly 18oz of fork fluid with a mesuring tool and i'm at 134mm....24mm too low, should I worry? Or add 1-2 oz?

Thanks you

Pump all the air out of the fork leg and let it settle. Also pump the outer and inner tube so you get a good bleed inbetween the tubes. Measure with the damper rod fully pushed down so it displaces as much oil as possible. Then measure.... then add. I always go by oil height. Good luck!
