Default Rear brake noise

When I roll my bike backwards I hear a noise coming from the rear brake area but when I go forward no noise at all. The pads are like new. Any ideas? Its a 95 900rr if that matters

There will always be contact between the rotor and the pads on disk brake systems, hence the noise. Also, disk brakes on bikes are directional, which may explain why it only does it when going backwards. So you should be OK, unless it's a very unusual noise or there is excess pressure on the disk (hard to rotate the wheel).
