Default Rear brake light always on

My rear brake light is always full on. I read somewhere, either here or the Clymer's manual, that there's an adjustment that can be made so it's only on when the brake is depressed.

What am I looking for?

You gotta tell us what kind of bike you're talking about.

if your talking about the rear brake it has an adjustment screw. i forget if its actually connected to the rear set or not but you cant miss it . the front brake is just a + and - but the rear one uses a pressure switch similar to a car

Ah, yes. It's a white plastic screw with a black retainer nut at the top, and it fits through a hoop on the inside of the rearset. You fiddle with that to move things up or down until you get it to where you want your light to come on.
