Default Question regarding keys

So here's the deal...

I recently just acquired a 2006 CBR1000RR

the previous owner replaced a couple of the locks & plastics because he basically rebuilt the bike from the ground up.. and now I have a handful of keys that don't match.

I have 1 key for the ignition, 1 for the gas tank, 1 for the seat storage... etc, you get it by now.

is it possible to replace everything with a lock to make it so I only need one key? Any idea what that might end up costing?

If you don't want to buy a complete set, take the fuel and trunk locks out and have a locksmith match them to the ignition key.

Is it really as easy as it looks? A few allen keys and nuts/bolts will be able to take most of the locks out of the bike, right?

Something like that. The lock cylinders come out pretty easy.

the gas cap needs to be open when you take it off, otherwise it wont come free when you take the allens out (p.s. it's only 3 allen bolts in the triangle pattern , the others are cosmetic). the tail lock is held on by 2 pieces that interlock to hold it in place. take it out first, then take the cable out of the mechanism

or you could buy a whole lockset

if you have a local locksmith/safe shop/etc, i would imagine it would be cheaper than the whole lockset, but i don't know... and it would be easier on you. if you went the lockset route, you'd have to take the top tree off, then drill out the ignition switch bolts when a press and then you could swap them.
