Hello everyone!!

Ok so im in a ****ty situation. I bought a 2001 CBR 600 F4I for $500.00 bucks from a guy and Im trying to sell it but I can't. I have a notarized bill of sale but no title. He said he would send me the title when he got back to North Carolina but Im starting to get a bad feeling that he is not going to send it and when I ask him about getting the title he gives me attitude and tells me he will send it but still has not.

I called the North Carolina DMV and Hawaii DMV and they both said there is nothing I can do because I need a title to get a new title. ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE OR THOUGHTS???

you should be able to apply for a lost title for money, 75 in florida, do you have a bill of sale that you purchased the bike with the vin on it?
the bike was probably salvaged and the guy never owned a title, i think you can still put a salvage vehicle on the road though.. im not sure on that. the vin will tell you whats up.

 

The VIN is salvaged but its not a stolen bike. The guy I bought it from is just being an *** about the situation. All he has to do is apply for a lost title and pay 15 bucks and send the **** to me. But he's not cooperating. So I want to just find a way to get a title without him involved....
