Default RE: question about power commander

If u know what ur doing with the power commander u can possibly get more HP out of ur bike but its really good for say puttin new upgrades on u can then program ur bike to feed off the upgrades for all they are worth thus getting the max HP ur upgrade says it could give u. But im pretty sure with no upgrades u could possibly pull some extra HP out somehow. although i dont have a power commander hope i helped u out some.

if you change the mapping of your bike by adding non-stock things like muffler, air filters, etc then you might need one

The PC is a faster computer for your bike. It bypasses SOME of the things that Honda lawyers wanted in the ECU and gives you better adjustability over the character of the engine. It allows you to better tune the bike rather than rely on how some engineer said that all bikes that come off the assembly line should run.
