Hi thanks for those who replied bout the spare spring I have on my cbr699f, 2008. I he been informed that it's the brake light spring that should be attached to the brake pedal. Unfortunately I cannot see where it should be fastened to. Does it go in the same place as the rear brake spring mech?

 

I'm not familiar with that model. What is a 2008 CBR699F ? What country? Check a parts manual to see where it goes.
