I guess I've been doing it wrong....lol..

I just dont downshift that often. I dont downshift unless my rpms are lower than 5000. I never downshift into a gear that will cause my rear tire to loose traction. Also, I never downshift mid corner. I make sure Im in the proper gear before I enter it. If it turns out the corner is a tightening corner, I just ride it out in that gear anyway. But, I usually run hard corners about 6-7 grand, that way it gives me some leaway.

It makes sense what everyone is saying though. Maybe I'll give it a shot. So, disregard my previous post..
