Default Project bike, what to do now? HELP!

So I picked up 07 GSXR 600 salvaged title with 200 miles on it from an auction, paid $2450 + $400 in auction cost. I spent about $400 in parts and while my mechanic is taking things apart wallah a bent and cracked frame. Boooo. Anyway I know a great welder so should I

A. Get the Frame welded and perhaps risk more labor charges if something isn't aligned correctly and going back and forth to correct it (Welder swears he can fix it with no problems for around $60)

or

B. Buy another 07 GSXR 600 auction bike with a Clean title and a straight frame (scratches on the frame however) (This bike is missing everything except the tail piece, tank, engine, forks, frame and tires) kinda looks like a street fighter I guess. And just sell the rest for a nice profit back. If choice B. How much should I bid up to?

What to do what to do...

F.Y.I. I owned a F4i last year so I'm allowed to post.

At the auction place...

I might look into just a frame. You had the F4i in Lansing right? In michigan its easy to get a title for a frame without one as long as there is no lein.

I think it's too much for a salvaged bike. Did you check racers edge they might have one. It's in ohio, or slicks in mason I have gotten stuff there point out the problems (scratches) and they will come down on price don't pay what they are asking.

Selling the bike will be hard with a welded frame. But selling with a bike with a mismatch frame engine number is easy.

Should have stuck with the F4i.

Yup thats me. I'll try Slicks and riders edge tomorrow. The F4i had a salvage too, good bike but not height friendly. But I paid right where I should have considering the majority of good parts. The bike is solid minus the frame and the cosmetic damage to the fairing.

Yeah I emailed him a few days ago. No go. Might just pick up that other bike and take the frame.

i have a clean title for an 07 600 you would need to take the numbers to suzuki and get a frame and have these numbers stamped on it. $1000 obo you would get a clean title vin plate and steering neck with vin stamping.
