Hi, I have a 1987 Honda Cbr 600F Hurricane, and for some reason I only have a problem shifting from 1st gear to Neutral when the engine is on...
But as soon as I turn the engine off, I can go from 1st to Neutral with ease...
When the engine is on and I'm at a complete stop, sometimes jerks straight into second gear skipping Neutral entirely and sometimes wont' shift at all.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ollie

Same here so it may be normal. It seems that our trannys work best with the bike moving and revs matching.
My bike always seems like there is a little power getting to the rear wheel even with the clutch pulled in all the way so maybe my clutch is a little out of adjustment or that the way the tranny is set up, as long as there is something rotating inside, a slight bit of torque will transfer (I've seen this on cars on jack stands with manual transmissions in Neutral).
