Please tell me it's the starter
ok, so i let my little bro borrow the bike and he returns it a day later making a real loud clicking sound will i ride. I tryed to ride to the bar and it died as i pulled into the parking lot. after about a 2 hour wait it fired right up, but still making the sound. So I attempted to ride and made it bout 6 miles when the bike just died like it was out of fuel (it wasn't out of fuel [:-]) So i got it towed home and i started the tear down when i realized that my battery connections are really caroaded. And when I attempted to start it i was as if it was dead. So i cleaned them off and tried jumping it and I got power everywhere needed, but when i pushed the start button it would just do this little wimpy attempt for a spilled saecond and then the nattery would act as if it's dead. And Im not sure if it is the same situation or not but if i tried to start it in gear with the clutch pulled it still made my tire jerk as it made its wimpy attempt. Finally I toar off my plastics and noticed that my power wired was pretty hot and getting hotter the closer I got to the starter, and the starter itself was even hotter. but the rest of the motor cold. So I know this is something probibly dumb but I really could use some help here guyz......... [sm=dontgetit.gif]
Jesus christ, I'm not a spelling **** but I could barely understand what the hell you wanted. Maybe you should proof read what you post or spell check just a little, ugh.
Take the battery to autozone, they will charge and test it free. I wouldnt do anything until you get your connections back to normal and a known good battery in place. THEN you can go about testing other components.

well a dead battery and metal clunking sound are two seperate issues. here use this site to diagnose the electrical problem http://cbrworld.net/forums/thread/140473.aspxand once its up and running you can figure out the clunking sound
