Please help me ID these carbs
Hello everybody, noob here. (Or should that be boob?)
I am really keen to identify a set of carbs that I recently bought.
I know that they are Keihin 4's and they have VP on the end of them. Each also has 88 AA KO then a Japanese symbol stamped just above the rear of the float chamber.
I bought them blind from a bike breaker with a view to re-jetting and fitting on a car (I know, you all probably hate me now... but I am a keen cyclist!) it is a 1982 Ford Capri (Mercury in the states).
The slow jet is 28mm long and stamped K40s
The main jets are stamped K115. or k115
Also, they have 38mm chokes.
So to the big questions, what did they fuel? And then which jets do I need to get them to fuel a 1593cc inline four car engine?
I have been looking at the Keihin lists of jets and the local bike dealers are not willing to help, so please help!
I will try to upload photos.
Thanks in advance.
