Default Plastics question...

Why is it that sharkskinz cannot be used as street fairings?

I would like to know what the deal is if anyon would be able to help me out....

You can... you just have to buy the street version. The race bodies do not have head light cut outs.

i found a set of stock fairings from a guy in Jersey...said he had a full set, the right and the left had been lowsided, the front was in good shape, and it was a brand new, never sued OEM tail. All the red and black stock color scheme. Is that a good deal for 380? Lemme know...

Not to be a ***** or anything but it is fiberglass so you could just cut out your own headlight hole... The cool part about that is that you could put just about any style/shape headlights you want.. Just my 2 cents..

I think that's good considering the Top left and Top right can go about 170 a piece, not to forget the middle front about another 100 bucks ... and so on.

Does it come with the headlight?

You could cut holes, but there's more to it than that. In the street versions of cowling there are mounting point and hardware built into the front fairing for mounting lights, relays, etc. I don't believe skins would have this.
