So I'm in the process of putting a new chain on my bike. I got the new one on, but when I try to press the masterlink side plates on, the tool keeps wanting to twist when it starts getting tight. So my question is, how do you keep the press plate holes on the tool aligned with the rivet pin holes on the masterlink as you tighten the tool?

 

Duh, I'm a dummy. Was tryin to do it without havin the handle screwed in.
