2000 929 Electrical issues
My 929 will not start. Its my second summer and I’m just getting comfortable riding. I replaced the battery at the beginning of the summer and have been riding to work every day since. I went outside this morning and it would not even click. When I jump it, it will start. When I remove the jumper cables it will run. When I turn it off, and try again without the cable, it clicks and dies. I’m not sure what the trouble is. Any ideas?

Dead battery most likely. Is the battery a maintenance free battery or can you put water in it ? Does it have water in it ? Have you put a meter on the battery to read the voltage ?
