Default Painting rear pegs etc.

Has anyone painted their rear sets and passenger pegs ?? I was thinking about getting them powder coated black ... but If i could just prime and paint them for less it may be worth it ? Has anyone done this or have and tips or hints ?

Thanks

I found some really cool spray @ true value like 3 days ago. Its a spray that puts a rubber coating on whatever you spray. Its supposed to be used for tools, but I sprayed my passenger pegs for when I do standin wheelies... Its grips a hell of a lot better! I got clear, but they have like 4 colors to choose from...
