RE: Painting Passenger Pegs
I would think a real LIGHT sanding, using VERY fine grit sandpaper and watch it if you get any that has metal particals in it,if you do make sure its aluminum particles as I believe that is what the pegs are made of, and the I would spray them with a good primer and then use paint that is good for aluminum (I believe Rust-O-Leium (sp?)) makes some for aluminum patio furniture. If you really want to get fancy, Sears sells a "powder coating spraygun and has the different color paints.Hope this helps and this isJMO.

RE: Painting Passenger Pegs
its a little lighter than the frame , my flash is super bright.
yeah just heat resistant spray paint i cant remember the brand right now ill check tomorrow.
i just took the peg apart and sprayed it down with one coat let it dry (it dries to the touch in less than 5 minutes) and then i continued and put 3 more coats on and put em back together and bolted em up.
it looks really nice cant even tell i painted em, some people think thats how they came ha
