Painting Frame?

I am stripping down my F2 to paint the frame. I am just curious to those that painted their frame. Did you sand the frame first? The stock paint seems very smooth and I wonder if the paint will stick.

Your going to have to sand prime sand prime sand paint. Just increase the grit number each time, there has to be some adhesion
