Smile Pads to fit Nissin brakes

Hi all,

i'm a newbie to all of this stuff so looking for some help. I currently own a 2002 CBR 600f Sport and i'm looking to change the brake pads on it. It currently has nissin brake calipers but i dont know what pads fit these. Is there a easy way to find out or is it just Nissin pads that fit?

All help will be appreciated.

Chris

Nissin (not to be confused with the auto maker Nissan) is the name of the company that makes the brake callipers for Honda, and a number of other makes. Those are the original callipers and you can buy any pads that are designed for your year and model.

IMO, for the longest lasting go with Honda OEM brake pads. They're more expensive, but I think worth it. I'm currently using another brand and they squeek, and have lots more brake dust. Makes the wheels harder to clean.
