Default One headlight not working!

Hey guys, I just recently purchased a used 2002 F4i with 5,000 miles and just discovered the headlight on the right side does not work when on low beam... however, on high beam it works fine. This may be a stupid question but I am not mechanically inclined at all but what could be the problem?? Are there two seperate bulbs for low and high beams and maybe the low beam bulb is out? If anyone has any ideas on what the problem is along with how to fix it, the part I need to replace it ,and where I can get the part I would appreciate it. I would like to try and do this myself before taking it to a shop. Thanks.

If your F4i is anything like my 1000RR low beam is the left light and high beam is both ( left and right bulbs are the same wattage)

So you are saying if you have the low beam on only the left side headlight will be on, where as if you want both headlights on you need to put the high beams on?? Tell me it is not that simple.. I am going to laugh at myself for this one! Sorry, no owner's manual so I don't have a clue...

Yep, that's normal. Lots of Hondas are like that. Now you just gotta get used to everybody you run into saying "hey buddy, you got a headlight out!" [:@]

The trick is to say " Realy ? look close at it , it may be dim " then flick the switch.
