Which oil to use!??
I'm using Delo 400LE 15W-40 with a Walmart supertech filter. So far it's working great!! And the wholemyth with syntheticand new engines is BS. If thats the case then why does General Motors spec Mobil 1 5W-30 straight from factory for Corvettes?? Same with Dodge Vipers; comes with synthetic oil from the factory???

My uncle uses just regular Chevron ATF in his honda. There's a guy that is known for racing motocross here......I think his name is Dewayne Johnson or something like that. He said that it reduces friction and when dyno'd it adds more rwhp. I haven't tried it in my bike, but it's designed to work with wet clutches, so it seems plausible to me.
Maxima Maxum 4 Premium from Dennis Kirk is around $21 per gallon, shipped right to your door. I've used it for almost 3 years in my MX bike and it's great. They offer both 10W40 and 20W50. They also offer some "ULTRA" types that are very expensive, but the only people that usually use that stuff are MX racers.
I used standard (dino) Spectro on my FZR a few years ago and it improved shifting smoothness quite a bit. So about 6 months ago I switched to (semi-synthetic) Spectro Golden 4 10W40 for the street bikes and all is going well. It's a bit expensive but my babies are worth it.
standard vs. full synthetic? ... sounds like a crock to me. I doubt it's much of an issue after break-in anyway. Also the key is changing it often and ALWAYS replace the filter every time. I can't blame a lot of people for using Rotella if it saves money.
Some other brands that rank very high in tests are: Bel Ray and Amsoil. RJDiesal-It shouldn't hurt to try another oil, I doubt it would be any worse than whatever you're using now. At best you might find the transmission shifts easier. If you don't like it you can always switch back the next time.
