Default Odometer help

Just bought my first CBR, an 06 600rr (been ridin' GSXRs for years) and wanted to know if there is a way to fix the following problem:

Previous owner had to replace the gauges on the bike. He bought a set off Ebay and the mileage on the odometer is 24xxx. The bike only has about 8xxx on it (title is less than six months old and had the original gauges at that time and was documented at 7xxx).

I know what is approximately on it, but my concern is down the road when I sell it that it'll read 35xxx when it's only 20xxx.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

On a side note, VERY different feel riding this over my GSXR! Can't say it's better yet, but it's sure is a fun bike to ride!!

Hmm... You could get another set of gauges with lower mileage and have those increased to the correct mileage. TBH, not sure how that'll affect the resale as full disclosure would require stating that's what was done... Which would raise true milage questions anyways.
