you were told by someone who hasn't tested your bike that a certain part has failed... and based on that information, you went ahead and bought a new part...
wow.
alright. the battery keeps failing on you. so after you charge the battery, does it pass a load test? have you tested your stator windings (well that's a dumb question, of course you haven't...)?
do so.

If your bike is an 04 1000rr than you have 7 years of warranty on the stator. The stators fail on these with great regularity so they have an extra 7 years of warranty. Just bring it to the shop and they should be able to tell you what it is and if it is the stator it is covered under warranty. To be sure about the battery justy make sure it is fully charged than bring it to an autozone or maybe NAPA and have them load test it for you.

Ok first off you need to find out if your battery is anygood. You can do that by takeing your battery to your local dealer and they will test your battery for free. If your battery is bad replace it if its not then you need to test the stater. There should be 3 wires that are normmaly yellow. Your stater is on the left hand side of your bike. by your shifter. Above it. You ck it with a ome meter. No offince but it sounds like your really need some help with your bike. So maybe you can get a friend that knows alittle to help you out. Anyways if your stater is good. Im sure it is, They hardle every go bad!!! Make sure its not shortered to ground your stater of corse. Since your reglater is new that not a problem now. So all you got left is your battery bro. If your battery isnt holding a charge than your done for anyways and you need a battery. Get that owm metter and ck your bike's chargeing system it should be around 13 to 14.5 volts out put. Your battery needs to be a a good 12 volts. You could be chargeing fine but if your battery is junk than you still going to have a problem. Let me know what you get. P>S> Do not ride your bike to find out the problem or you will mess up the chargeing system. Later UH HUH indianapolis
