Default Normal Operating Tempature?

I just reciently bought a 2001 Honda CBR 600F4i and was riding it and noticed the tempature reached 225 degrees. Is this a normal tempature for this bike?

I dont know what that is in degrees celcius, but I thought the same thing when I noticed my bike got up to 102 degrees celcius, just over boiling point when I was going slow around town,,, its normal for them to run hot, I asked the same Q and every 1 told me it was ok.

When it's warm out and I'm not cruising on the highway ...yeah 225 is normal.

If I remember correctly from when I had my F4I, the fan kicks on at about 225 and it will attempt to keep it down from there. Sitting in line on Main Street at Daytona Bike Week, I recall seeing it around 230 with no adverse affects.
