Hi new on here
First bike a CBR600F 1996
Parked it up in the garage for winter went to it today and no power what so ever
no lights no horn nothing

Checked battery 12.8 volts have put battery on charger anyway but dont know where to start

Anyone got any ideas

Did you check the main fuse?

 

I aint checked anything yet didnt know where to start
there is a panel on the right hand fairing top about 5 inch long is it in there

 

Nope. It's outside the fuse box, usually under its own cover. Follow the positive battery cable to the fuse box.

 

Thanks I will check that tomorrow thinking I am going to have to get tank and stuff off then I tried to see where the cable went today but couldnt follow it
I will post results tomorrow

update
removed tank and found the main fuse that was ok
checked other fuses found one blown replaced that and nuetral light came one bike started straight away with no problems
turned bike off and then back on no nuetral light fiddled with key and it came on so now thinking ignition is faulty
