So iam Driving into work today cruising on the freeway behind an suv and then all of a sudden bam. i hit something i look back and nothin i look at my front tire/rim and it looks fine. i notice iam not turnin as smoothly. So once i get off the freeway. i look down and nothin yet my tire is going flat thank god my work is like 1/4 mile from freeway and i get to work look down my rim is bent really bad i need to get a new one asap... i ride an 07 cbr 1000 what to do work isnt too close from home so thats another issue but i need to get a new rim or get that one straightend out whats that gonna run me?

 

Damn, that sucks. Not sure what the value of a 1K rim is, but last year when I was looking into having my rim straightened, it was anywhere between $225 ~ $400. It wasn't worth the cost in shipping and all that for me so I picked up a diffrent rim off ebay...which has a fu*king flatspot!

Look up a local frame repair shop and ask them if they, or someone they know can do it.
