New filter, k&n, too rich now?

We got a new filter in the airbox, and now the bike seems to not run properly. When I give it throttle, it wants to die out. The throttle on these cv's controls fuel more so than air, so I think the bike is running too rich now. Has anyone had to rejet after a filter change?
