New Fairings

New Fairings
I'm looking to buy some new fairings, has anyone ever purchased from this site? I don't mind ordering from eBay, but it ships out of country, not in the mood for dealing with excess doing costs once it comes to the US, if any. http://www.fairingmaster.com/products/honda-fairing-kits/cbr600/cbr600f3-95-96/c-251/page-2.html

Almost all aftermarket fairings come from places like China.
They fit poorly and are not made very well usually. They always seem to take forever to get to you and the return policy sucks. But, they are much cheaper than original.
If you go that route, make sure to read up on the company and their customer service. The thing to watch out for is the ones that don't cover return shipping. Many charge like $200 for the fairings and $200 shipping. If you need to return them for some reason, you pay $200 more to ship them back and not get paid the $200 shipping for the broken set. Out $400 and have no fairings. It's a scam so beware. Go with the $400 set with free shipping.
(numbers are hypothetical)

unless its OEM, its a china fairing. They may have a warehouse in the US, and claim to be a product of the US, but its chinese. none of them are going to fit perfect, the paint doesnt hold up to much, but the finish is usually pretty good. just read reviews, some sellers are much better than others, but definitely go with one that has all the mounting holes pre-drilled.

FWIW, I'm pretty sure the F2 I just bought has a FairingMaster kit. They look great from anything more than 8-10 feet away but the closer you get the more flaws you will see. Some of the painted lines don't line up across pieces, they don't fit well to the frame or to each other leaving gaps in some places and excess overlap in others. They are also pretty fragile. I planned on starting to strip my bike down for a carb cleaning last night and both tabs broke off of the left rear fairing with very little force. I'm still working on figuring out how I'm going to fix it...if I even can.

I replaced mine a couple of years ago, only because the originals we beyond economical, repair. I bought from eBay using a company in China called Woowall and they came in at around £360 all in including customs charges.
The quality and paintwork was pretty good but not OEM, I had to do a lot of work to fit them, mainly filing out the holes to line them up, and had the tank painted to match, but it was worth it, and the bike now draws loads of positive attention.
