i just picked up a 96 cbr f3. most of the fairings are trashed and i'm looking to buy a entire fairing kiton ebay for a fairly low price. the only problem i seem to have is that there isn't much of a selection for the 96. on the ohter hand the 97 and the 98 have a kit i really like. what i need to know is if i can use the 97 kit on the 96, and what problems i may have.

 

i just went through this myself. actually i'm still going through this (i haven't recieved my fairings from ebay yet). If you have a 96, your going to need a 97-98 seat and a 97-98 taillight and rear fender. I hope i helped and just so you know, expect to wait a while for your fairings. I ordered mine and paid for them over a month ago and still haven't recieved them. I trust the seller because most of the buyers he deals with said that it took 3+ weeks to recieve their fairings. good luck
