Hey guys,

I needed some pointers on redo-ing the seal on the right side engine cover. I developed an oil leak that leaks just a little above where the glass is where you check your oil level around the bolts that screw the cover on. I got the Honda Bond 4 to do the job, but was wondering a few things:

1. Will the old bond come off easily or will I need to buy something to get it to come off?
2.I WILL have to drain the oil, correct?
3. Is there any precautions I need to take so that I don't screw up anything once I get the cover off? I know I need to make sure I don't get any trash in there, etc.
4. Am I crazy for trying to do this on my own although I am pretty mechanically inclined, or so I think.....? or should I pay out the a** to get it done by a shop?


Any advice is greatly appreciated. I want to get this done asap for obvious reasons. I am going to try and attempt it this weekend.
