Default need help two brothers slip on

ill start with the fact that im new to motorcycles. i just recieved my two bros slip on in the mail and while installing i noticed some things. first is that where the new twobros pipe connects to the bike even with tightening the clamp down it still feels really loose. it wiggles around .the stock one was on there solid. i dont wanna over tighten the clap and bust it. second is the stock exhaust had mounts for the heat sheild, the two bros does not. does that have to go back on or did they mean for it to stay off?

Sounds silly but are you sure you get the correct pipe for your year and model?

Maybe some pics would help.

went and double checked and yes they sent me the 03-04 cbr 600rr model. i sorted out the heatsheild on the can issue. attached it to the underside if the rear cowl with some rubber spacers and bolts. should work fine. as for the heat shield on the S pipe , im gonna take it to a local welder to have the tabs from the stock exhaust welded onto the new pipe.however the last problem still remains.... the point where the S pipe connects to the mid pipe is loose. its not really lose but theres a 1/16th and the pipe clamp they provide isnt doing anything as far as compressing the pipe. they call for a bead of the silicon they provided at that connection, but i think it will still be sloppy

Im not crazy about it but....

Get yourself some RTV silicone in the black. Its for super high temp applications and dries about as firm as any silicone can. It should tighten that up and secure it good enough.
