Urk! I would hate to have to change the throttle bodies! Hopefully it won't come to that, but thanks for the input, more things to add to my list.

Hmm. Plugs 1 and 4 look good and they are sparked by one coil, and plugs 2 and 3 look bad and are sparked by another coil. Before I messed with the fuel injection, I would stick plugs 1 and 4 into plug wires 2 and 3 and see if they spark.

I was curious about the state of plugs 2 and 3 also, but it seems the F4i's all have separate direct ignition coils for each cylinder. So on mine, I don't have any conventional plug wires, which is wierd because the service manual says to attach the timing light to the number 1 spark plug wire..go figure.
