Yup I ate **** today.

I got woke up early as heck to a family emergency. and only vehicle I had available was the bike. So as im running outside... it snowing! wtf with that? But family duty calls so I hop on the horse and take off.. only to eat **** out of my gravel driveway that is slick with snow.

a 550+lb bike is one heavy piece of equipment to pick up after just barely opening your eyes from a full nights rest. But got her up and off I went.

Once it stops snowing... it'll be time for damage control.

*Sigh* I feel dumb... But when ur in a hurry that is when bad things happen, right?

 

dude im sorry to hear that, hope the family emergency turned out ok, and it couldnt of been too bad if you were still able to drive it.

Yea it was a light dusting of snow.. enough to get the gravel wet. luckly I was still in my driveway so didnt have too much speed. I do see a crack in my fairing. ugh! and a few good scratches... seems all cosmetic..

as for the family issue things are ok. Nothing life or death.

maybe a message in that somewhere - time for winter storage ?

Sorry to hear about your bike, at least it doesnt sound too bad :-) ... rather have this wake up call than a bigger faster one, take care!! :-)
